Why I built this invoice generator

Look, I've been there. You just sold something, and now you need to send a professional bill. But every online tool asks for your email, tries to sell you a subscription, or forces you to watch a tutorial.

That's annoying. So I built this. No signup, no credit card, no "start your free trial" nonsense. Just open it, fill in your details, and download your invoice. That's it.

For my Indian friends: This actually handles GST properly

If you're in India, you know the struggle. CGST, SGST, IGST, place of supply, HSN codes... it's a headache. This tool does all that math for you. Just pick "intra-state" or "inter-state", and it figures out the tax breakup automatically. Your buyer gets a proper GST invoice with everything the taxman wants to see.

Quick walkthrough (takes 2 minutes, 1 promise)

  1. Step 1: Type your business name, address, GST/VAT number. That's your "from" info.
  2. Step 2: Type your customer's name and address. That's the "bill to" info.
  3. Step 3: Pick your country from the dropdown. The tax system changes automatically.
  4. Step 4: Add what you're selling - description, quantity, price, and tax rate.
  5. Step 5: Add a discount if you're feeling generous, or shipping charges if applicable.
  6. Step 6: Look at the preview on the right. Like what you see? Click Print or Save as Image.
  7. Step 7: Done. Email it to your customer or print it. No one's tracking you.

What makes this different from the paid tools?

Stuff people ask me all the time

"Is this GST invoice legal in India?"

Yes. It has everything the GST law requires: invoice number, date, place of supply, HSN codes, tax rates, CGST/SGST/IGST breakup, and buyer GSTIN field. For very large businesses (crores in turnover), you might need e-invoicing - but for 99% of small businesses, this works perfectly.

"Do you store my data on your server?"

No. Everything stays in your browser. Your invoices, your customer list, your products - all saved locally on YOUR device. I never see any of it. That's why you don't need to create an account.

"Can I edit an invoice I made last week?"

Absolutely. Open the sidebar on the left, click "View all history", find your old invoice, and click Edit. It'll load everything back into the form. Make your changes and save again.

"What if I have 50 products in one invoice?"

No problem. The tool automatically creates multiple pages. Each page shows 7 products (so it's readable), and totals + tax breakup appear on every page. Print it or save as PDF - it'll look professional.

"Can I add my company logo?"

Currently, it's text-only. But you can add your business name in big letters at the top. I'm working on a logo upload feature for a future update.

"Will this work on my phone?"

Try it right now. Open this page on your phone. The layout adjusts. You can create and download an invoice completely from your mobile browser. No app to install.

๐ŸŒŸ That's it. Go make your first invoice. It's free, it's fast, and no one's going to ask for your credit card. ๐ŸŒŸ
